Here at Law Promo, we often provide our opinions to clients in matters of law firm web design, their content, or anything else they ask an opinion for. We like to help, it’s our thing. Lately, our clients have been asking our opinions on their call to action statements. So, in today’s post, we’ll be giving our readers tips for a strong call to action.
Now, what is a call to action? A call to action is a statement that urges the reader to take immediate action. Calls to action are usually tied into graphics that further urge the reader to take action. It’s a marketing ploy that tries to evoke a sense of urgency and inspire confidence into the viewer. Calls to action should be present in all law firm web designs.
When creating a strong call to action, you just need to remember three things:
1). Be Clear and use urgent language
Let the reader/viewer know what you want them to do. Don’t use fancy lingo or anything that would make them think twice. Combine urgent and active words, like call, buy, or contact, with clear language like, now or today. Don’t make your call to action too long. Keep it short so it rolls off the tongue.
Once you have your call to action, the next step to remember is where to position it. Positioning is very important, especially when it comes to law firm web designs. You want your visitors to notice it. Ideally, your call to action should be positioned in the center of a page, the top, or featuring a noticeable graphic. The positioning of your call to action should draw your visitor’s eyes towards it.
3). Make it Noticeable
Go big or go home. Your call to action shouldn’t be hiding. It should roar loudly for all to see! While it’s great to include your call to action within your content, it’s also important to make sure your visitors see it. Your call to action should stand out on it’s own. Make it big. Make it bold. Make it noticeable.
Keep these tips in mind when creating a call to action! Calls to action should come naturally and flow with the content and your law firm web design. Contact Law Promo today and we’ll help you create your own call to action.
