Jose Gomez, the father of Jason Gomez, talks about the death of his son who died of a severe beating and blunt force trauma to the head while at the Theo Lacy Jail in Orange County, California. On March 19, 2008, Jason Gomez voluntarily turned himself in to authorities at the jail for a minor probation violation. On March 24, 2008, the Orange County Register reports, Jason Gomez telephoned his father with the following ominous message: "Dad, please don't hang up. This officer here is going to kill me." On April 1, 2008, thirteen days later, Jason Gomez was mysteriously found dead in the jail.
