Lawyer & Law Firm Network News

Today's show features my Co-Host Jerry Ringler, partner at Ringler Kearney Alvarez, and my esteemed guests Marvin Goodson of the law firm Goodson, Wachtel & Petrullis, Rick Simons, partner at Furtado, Jaspovice & Simons, and Lynne Bernabei, partner at The Bernabei law Firm.
Lynne Bernabei is an "employees" employment lawyer. She represents the "little guy", and she's has successfully represented employees in matters that range from Whistleblower lawsuits (blowing the whistle on your corrupt boss), as well as what you, as an employee or as a corporate officer's responsibilities are to report illegal activities at your company.
She's handled many civil rights and discrimination suits, and can help you too by calling Lynne @ 202-745-1942.
Marvin Goodson is once again a fountain of information for your estate tax planning. Today, Marvin discusses Proposition 13 in the state of California, and how there are several exceptions which can be beneficial in family planning which avoid a change in ownership, and minimize your family's tax liabilities. Marvin also discusses the mandatory changes in your estates and wills you must implement upon a new marriage. You can reach Marvin directly @ 310-208 8282.
Rick Simons was recently recognized as one of California's 36 attorneys to receive the distinguished California Lawyer Attorney of the Year Awards. He earned this award in the practice area of "Personal Injury" for his success in representing plaintiffs in the Catholic Church's sex-abuse cases initially brought against the Diocese of Oakland, Calif. His case was the first case in the state to go before a jury for punitive damages¡¦ and the verdict demonstrated that a diocese could be held accountable for its priests' actions.
Today, Rick speaks about product liability cases, healthcare issues, and other cases in the news. You can reach Rick directly @ 510-582-1080.
Jerry Ringler, being the esteemed trial lawyer he always is, provides another round of exciting panel discussion weighing in on some very newsworthy stories with our distinguished guests. We discuss the Pellicano case, and related "wiretapping" issues both by the Bush Administration and others. Other cases of note which our panel focuses on are the "Lewis Libby" case, immigration issues, national security, the new Health care program in Massachusetts, and more. Please Listen in and be sure to take notes, because these great attorneys are giving you a lot of useful information. You can reach Jerry @ 213-473-1900
